On Friday, 8th March 2019, the District Council of Loxton Waikerie, Mayor Leon Stasinowsky, officially opened the Waikerie Lifestyle Village $2.2 million Stage 4 development project, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in front of our Village residents. Stage 4 is made up of 2.5 acres of land, featuring 22 NEW allotments, representing the opportunity for more families to join our wonderful community. “It is fantastic for the town of Waikerie to have 45 established homes already in the Village and the opening of this new Stage, with 22 more blocks, will definitely be a boost to the local economy”, Mr Stasinowsky said.

Edwards Group CEO, Mr Stephen Edwards, said the Stage 4 development offers the opportunity for at least 35 new residents to move into town and join the Waikerie community. “With this latest development, more than half the money spent has been with local trades and businesses and I strongly believe the local economy will definitely benefit from this”.

The Waikerie Lifestyle Village is holding an Open Day on Saturday the 16th March from 11am to 3pm. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the residents and Village representatives, sit down with an on-site building expert, inspect 3 brand new display homes and enjoy a scenic tour of the Village.
